Scope of Services

Prata Group LLC - June 2026 Cohort

This agreement describes the services provided by Gender Expression Care ("GEC"), operated by Prata Group, LLC, and the terms under which those services are offered. Please read carefully before enrolling. By completing payment and reserving your spot, you agree to these terms.

1. Services Provided

Gender Expression Care ("GEC") provides an eight-week online workshop for transgender and gender-diverse adults, focused on developing practical skills in gender expression and presentation.

2. Session Structure

Each weekly session consists of two components:

2.1 Instructional Component (50–65 minutes). Led by Monica Prata. Covers techniques and skills relevant to gender presentation, including:

  • Gender-affirming wardrobe

  • Body confidence and body positivity

  • Hair strategy and styling

  • Cosmetics and skincare

  • Movement and mannerisms

  • Gender-affirming voice (led by a gender-specialized speech therapist)

2.2 Small-Group Integration Component. Participants are placed into small groups facilitated by licensed gender therapists or by gender expression–trained community members, as set forth in §3. The integration component is designed to support participants in applying the skills introduced in the instructional component to their daily lives and to support the development of self-confidence.

3. Group Placement

Group placement is determined on a per-session basis according to the participant's physical location at the time of each session:

  • Participants physically located in California, New York, or Connecticut at the time of a session will be placed in a small group facilitated by a licensed gender therapist authorized to practice in that state.

  • Participants located outside of California, New York, and Connecticut at the time of a session — including CA, NY, and CT residents who are traveling — will be placed in a small group facilitated by a gender expression–trained member of the transgender and gender-diverse community.

4. Insurance Reimbursement (Superbill)

Superbills are issued on a per-session (weekly) basis to participants placed in licensed gender therapist–led groups. Participants placed in community-member-led groups for a given session — including CA, NY, or CT residents traveling outside of those states at the time of a session — will not receive a superbill for that session. Reimbursement is not guaranteed and is subject to the terms of each participant's individual insurance plan.

5. Refund Policy

In the event GEC cancels a cohort due to insufficient enrollment or other circumstances, all enrolled participants will receive a full refund. Otherwise, purchases are final.

6. Participant Conduct & Removal

GEC is committed to maintaining a safe and affirming environment for every participant. All participants are expected to uphold the community guidelines described in the GEC Participant Agreement, which forms part of the terms of enrollment.

GEC reserves the right to remove any participant whose conduct is determined to be harmful to the safety or wellbeing of the group. Removal may occur with or without refund, at GEC's sole discretion.

7. Changes to the Program

GEC reserves the right to modify session schedules, facilitators, or curriculum content as needed to maintain program quality. Participants will be notified of any material changes in advance.

8. Limitation of Liability

GEC's liability in connection with this agreement is limited to the total amount paid by the participant for the enrolled cohort. GEC is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages of any kind arising from participation in the workshop or from any disruption to services outside GEC's reasonable control.

9. Governing Law

This agreement is governed by the laws of the State of California. Any disputes arising under this agreement shall be resolved in the courts of California, and both parties consent to jurisdiction therein.

10. Participant Acknowledgment & Signature

By accepting this Agreement below, participants confirm each of the following:

  • I have read and understood this Scope of Services Agreement in full.

  • I am 18 years of age or older.

  • I currently reside in California, New York, or Connecticut.

  • I agree to the payment and refund terms described above.

  • I understand that GEC is an educational program and does not provide clinical or medical services.

  • I understand that GEC may remove any participant whose conduct is harmful to the group, with or without refund, at GEC's sole discretion.

  • I have also read and agreed to the GEC Participant Agreement & Community Guidelines.
